This beautifully furnished cafe was a newly opened establishment, filled with cozy and warm atmosphere. Services were a bit slow so we just sat down ourselves (do wait to be seated when you go there next time). It also took awhile for teams noticing us even though we were not sitting at the corner of this cafe. Foods were alright but the portions were bit small which may not be substantial enough for a guy.

(1) Buttermilk pancake:
It looked beautiful and appetising with edible flowers on top. The slab bacon was seasoned and cooked so on point. Yet, when it came to the soul of this dish, pancake, it simply disappointed me. It wasn’t fluffy at all and even a way too soft for me. I couldn’t even use a fork to hold the pancake.

Buttermilk pancake || slab bacon, caramel creme, viola ($18)

(2) Local mushrooms:
As usual, the combination of mushrooms, eggs and toasts will never go wrong. The tender mushrooms tasted good with a very rich and strong flavour of horseradish creme. One thing to comment was the small portion of this dish.

Local mushrooms || horseradish creme, poached eggs, sourdough ($17)
