Tropico @North Beach

105 Flora Terrace, North Beach, Perth, WA

It’s nearly been a year for not coming back. Tropico is always a beautiful but packed cafe even if you come during weekdays. Nothing else have changed but a more fascinated new winter menu; still receiving a warm greeting from the lovely team, enjoying that fresh breeze and nice warm sun filling up the cafe under a cold day.

(1) Tropico hangover cure:
It was a very appetizing dish served with slightly spicy fried eggs and a refreshing drink. The corn bread was so rich in butter which I loved it.  But this dish could have more pork as perthfoodiesssx2 are carnivores haha.

Tropico hangover cure || spicy fried eggs, basil, crispy pork, buttery corn bread, virgin mary ($21)

(2) Sweetcorn & ricotta fritter:
This dish was pretty filling as it served with a relatively large fritter and about three big pieces of smoked salmon. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Fritters were nicely seasoned, yet this wasn’t crispy enough and it was so soft inside.

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset
Sweetcorn & ricotta fritter || smoked salmon, poached egg, roasted peppers, creme fraiche ($22)
