The Little Pantry
206 Nicholson Road, Shenton Park, Subiaco, Perth, WA
On a sunny and warm Saturday morning, The Little Pantry which locates away from the hustle and bustle of Subiaco was our final decision for a brunch date. As usual, people were packed in this tiny cafe for coffee, baked goods, brekkie or simply a catch up with friends and family. We quickly settled down at the back of this laid-back cafe and went through the all-day menu. A compact menu is always a great thing for all the indecisive foodies. After awhile, our beautifully presented dishes had quickly come with the hospitality waitresses. Their dishes are always too pretty to be eaten!
(1) Spring Bruschetta:
This dish could not be listed as one of my favourite in The Little Pantry but it was definitely an insta-worthy one. This was my very first time having toasted fruit bread I guess? I just don’t like the hard texture it had.
(2) Coconut milk porridge:
This gorgeous porridge was so delicious, lying in the perfect balance of the sweet and sour taste from cherries and coconut. Utilising milk also turns this into a smooth and creamy porridge.
