It was the 12th of November, an awesome day which we started heading down South for three days camping. This time, we decided to be a way more relaxing! So, yes! You are going to see more food pictures and reviews in these coming days.
Finlay & Sons is always a lovely one for starting off a beautiful day like today. They never disappointed us whenever we paid a visit. This time, classic dishes were still staying on the menu but with more new dishes came in sight.
Having scrambled egg on toast sounds boring? That’s because you are still getting lost in looking for a perfect scrambled egg. Don’t worry! I back you up! The scrambled eggs here were fluffy and moist. With finely sliced spring onions on top, I am speechless.
Another star in the dish would be the thick cut bacon as cafes usually serve thin-sliced ones only. With the perfect balance of fat to meat, this piece of bacon was definitely on point.
I would not say this was a super weird combination but don’t think this would work for everyone. It tasted like sweet-sour rather than savoury. So, sweet or savoury dishes? For those who chose sweet dishes, maybe you will love this. Apart from the taste, this dish consists of crispiness, firmness and softness altogether, well, this was weird.
